South London Nursery | London

MTA were approached by a local nursery to gain planning permission to use the existing flat roof as a play ground. After winning planning permission MTA developed options to potentially extend the roof space to create more accommodation for the nursery.

Felton Place | London

MTA won planning permission for a contemporary proposal on the site of a disused church hall. The proposal involves retaining the D1 use on the ground floor with residential use above which could be up to 100% affordable accommodation. The location is at the intersection of two main roads in Southwark and the site is very close to two underground tube stations, the river Thames and walking distance to the city of London. The proposal for 22 flats and a special needs centre on the ground floor won planning permission after careful and detailed negotiations with Southwark council. The final proposal was designed to have a hard edge to the busy main road in front, a soft edge to the secondary road and residential blocks to the side and a playful colourful edge and base to the school behind and passing pedestrians.
